These instruction are for changing the
switch to opposite function if needed.
In this example we are starting with an
Extension switch which is what is normally used in most GP style
shift patterns (1 down and 4 or 5 up) |

With a 12mm and 15mm wrench, loosen the
female barrel shown on the right in this picture and remove the
lock nut on the opposite side. |

Then simply swap the two parts and
reassemble.
Note: now that the switch is setup for
compression function it is very important to leave approx 1mm of
thread showing next to the lock-nut when you attached the shift
rod to the switch. Never run the nut down to bottom for either
application. |
