Setting the correct piston protrusion and squish volume is imperative to tuning the modern 2 stroke race motor. This simple tool is designed to give you accurate data so you can tune your bike to its full potential. After removing your cylinder head and O-Rings, a simple measurement is taken by placing the gage over your exposed piston in the cylinder and rotating the crankshaft to achieve a measurement at top dead center. The gage can be zeroed on any piece of ground glass, granite or metal. Each gage is precision ground from stainless steel and shipped in a re-useable protective container with a metric dial indicator. Works with 125 and 250 machines up to 56mm bore for all modern RS125/250, TZ125/250 and older TZ250 machines.

 Leak down testing a new motor is an imperative step in assuring the success of your efforts and not causing catastrophic damage the first time you run the motor. This simple test kit is installed in place of your carburetor and expansion chamber with the engine in the bike or on the bench. Utilize the attached air pump to pressurize engine cases to 5psi, a successful test is reached if there is less than 0.5psi leakage after 10 minutes. 250cc leak down sets consist of two test sets with a single air pump to simplify the testing procedure.
